what would you buy from Japan?
Guys,
I am going to Japan in November and was just wondering if there is anything that is unique for the Z that you cant buy online but from the mother country itself. I will be in the Tokyo area and be looking to visit some shops while I am out there. Cheers |
Panties from a vending machine? :icon17:

I would probably look for Z car or Nissan specific books or magazines. Preferably, they’d have a lot of pictures since I don’t read Japanese..... lol

I would look for those Nismo climate control knobs in straight black like someone posted on here, I can't find them anywhere.

I would honestly want the owners manual. I think that would be a cool item....

You have to try some of those weird flavored KitKats. There is like 200 different flavors.

They have some chewing gum and candy that will light up every taste bud on your tongue
at one time. I don't remember the name of it. |
Suntory's Yamazaki 12 and 18 are fantastic. Kinda their own thing. One of my favorite whiskeys, but ever since the tsunami and the increasing whiskey culture of Japan, it's been hard to find. It used to be a $35 bottle. Now it's like $80+.
The Suntory Toki whiskey I'm not a fan of though, wonder if that's what Revray tried. Also thought it tasted weak. But give Yamazaki a try. I'd also buy the various Pocky sticks (states tend to just get chocolate), and the weird Oreos. On topic though, if you have an A/T, I think there's a factory remote start you can buy that's kinda baller with an LCD screen. I looked into it briefly though due to price, and have no idea if it works with USDM vehicles. They also have interior footwell lighting not available here. And Amuse makes a brace that replaces our stock aluminum in-cabin one. With harness anchors and all. If you're baller that'd be pretty unique. |
Oh, and there's also all the Nismo S-Tune shiftknobs. They're not that pricey and easily travel.
