so few 370's good or bad

In a way I'm glad to own a Z actually happy as it is a rare car and get lots of stares even after 5 years, but I wonder if one day I need a spare part, lets say a hood, front bumper, any body part or even an interior part, I think the junkyard now called recyclable auto parts will not be able to help me out. I had a Civic and I could get anything from them, but on a good note since '09 until '15 (correct me if I'm wrong) the parts are interchangeable.right? :driving:

I dont think you have anything to worry about. The 370 platform is hitting on 10 years old and Nissan is showing no signs of shutting down production. Even if they do stop, i think you will be good for another 8 - 10 years before getting OEM parts is an issue, and even after that, aftermarket stuff will be around probably long past the length of time you will own the car.

Look at the 350Z platform. You can still buy brand new parts for that car and aftermarket builds from other retailers and the thing has been around since early 2000’s!

Enjoy the car and drive it hard! If something breaks i can assure you that finding the replacement part wont be an issue. :tiphat:

I love the fact it is rare...sure stands out in a crowd. As for parts I wouldnt worry too much either as most are interchangeable. You also have the g37 which has a few parts that swap so I wouldn't stress too much over it.

Look and compare the progression to something like a 240sx. Now you're seeing the Z334 swaps and such going on. I foresee this and the 350z being around a while and parts not being a issue. I wouldn't worry about parts. Unlike the 240sx, there is heritage behind z cars. Look at ppl still busting out 240z and 280z's. The parts are still out there....the chassis are hit or miss

The Roadster is even more rare! Im in socal and Ill occasionally see a 370 here and there.. probably one or two every other day. But for some reason, whenever Im in the Phoenix/Gilbert area, there seem to be alot..roadsters included.

Look a the bright side. You could own a Murano cross-cabriolet.

I've only ever seen about 5 of these on the road. And that's probably 4 more than the world needed :roflpuke2:

I have seen 2 around my neighborhood. And to think people paid $50k for it, guess there is a sucker born every day.
