Think this trade would be good?

I currently drive a 2009 7AT. Touring and sport package. its been 5 years and I've really been thinking that I should have got a manual. I have been thinking this since day 1. One of the biggest reasons I bought this one was because of the monterey blue color. Its my favorite z color and i could not find a manual whatsoever. So I stuck with the 7AT.

Now would it would be worth it to trade my current car
2009, 130,000km, 7AT

For a base model Z in white 6MT. It is priced around $26,000 with 4,700 km. I dont go to the track so the brakes wont bother me. The lack of leather seats and a proper stereo is a bit of a turn off, but that can always be upgraded.

I say do whatever makes you happy...but I never understood why people trade for the same **** car lol....drive it until you're done and get the next in manual...thats my opinion....

How much are they giving you for your car?

Personally, not having the sport features would bother me as much as not having a manual on a Z, but I could care less about the touring features.

So my top two priorities were manual trans and sport model. Color, while important, was a distant 3rd, as I would have been fine with a different color.

The point is, determine what is truly your top 1 or 2 priorities and go with that. Who cares what anyone else thinks (although not wrong to ask for opinions) of your final decision. Good luck on your decision and Monterey blue is a very nice color

You must drive you’re a lot as you obviously want a Z with less mileage. With doing all your general maintenance our 370Z’s will last a long time to come. In the end it’s up to what vehicle you would like to purchase. The 7AT and 6MT both have there pros and cons just depends what drivetrain you feel most comfortable driving. You could always repaint this 6MT 370Z you like Monterey Blue if it is in your budget or save to repaint it. Over time the seats and stereo could be upgraded if that is the direction you want to go with this Z you are considering to purchase. Overall the base 370Z brakes do just fine for street duty. If you do ever do plan on attending any track events with your Z definitely upgrade your brakes before hand. I agree the color Monterey Blue is one beautiful color on the Z but sometimes it’s necessary to expand your horizons to a different color on your Z or hold out and keep searching.

Sounds like a weak deal to me. Just half a year ago I got a 2015 sport with 9,000 miles and 100k warranty for $25k, and they're asking 26 for a base?

Did you get that deal in Canada?

I got it in Texas, it's like the Canada of the south. Saw $ and thought USD, my bad!
