Default Saw My First Nismo 370Z In Person Today.

Pictures don't do it justice. My family was visiting my sister and her family for the Christmas holidays in southeastern VA. Today my dad and I went to a local Nissan dealer there to check out a red Nismo 370Z. It looks amazing in person. The nose, wheels and rear are so different from the regular 370Z in person. I really do like the look of the car. I just wish it was available with the Touring options. If it was I would have purchased one rather than the Touring w/Sport package.

I especially like the rear of the car. The rear bumper cover and the big tips on the Nismo exhaust really stand out. Same with the wheels. They are very nice.

I have never seen a Nismo 350z in person much less a 370z.

I have only seen 2 regular 370z's on the road here in the US, and I saw like 3 in Japan.

I know exactly how you feel. I went to Nissan last week to check out their Z's. I was blown away by the blue sport I saw. Pictures just don't do that color any justice, I hate looking at it online but once I saw it in person I knew I was sold. That color is brilliant. They also had a silver Nismo up there but I still wasn't feeling the styling.

yeah if they would put leather at least in the Nismo it'd be nice. i'm okay with the cloth, but many people are not.

Yeah, it's surprising how much more you can like something in person. I wasn't overly keen on the Nismo seeing it online, but walking around it at the dealership made me warm to it. A lot of presence.

I also HATED the GTR looking at it online. Butt ugly, boxey-reared thing, but then, seeing a black one on black wheels at the dealership almost made me take my checkbook out there and then. I actually started figuring out a way of justifying our savings taking a hit to my wife.

I guess dealers rely on your mindless lust to sell cars. Good job I walked away when I did.

Yeah, I'm with you in wanting the leather seats. I guess the Nismo is intended to be the hard core performance car so Nissan has decided that it should be more of a no frills car rather than more of a luxury car. Ultimately that is why I chose a Touring/Sport over the Nismo. But damn that Nismo looks good.

Those seats would look good in your Nismo.

Maybe you can find a set from someone here on the forum.

yeah hardcore, that overheats and has brake failures. Oh well just spend an extra 1G and get oil cooler and track pads and you'll have a monster.

The Drivers Edge (it's a TX thing, but there are many programs like this i'm sure)

MotorSport Ranch - Performance Car Country Club

should be awesome. a lot of people in the Z Club of Texas have done track events there and there are even some instructors in the club. i've heard great things
