I love our cars but I wouldn't do a long trip again. The visibility is a big issue when traveling (hit a rock in the middle of the lane), it's an uncomfortable ride overall due to the seats and suspension, the noise of the engine and exhaust gets really bad after 2-3 hours, and it will be really expensive due to premium gas and MPG. If you are going to do it, I highly suggest to only drive with daylight.

Maine to Atlanta, via the Skyline and Blue Ridge, and back, twice in my 350Z. About 3000 miles each time. I was pretty comfortable...either I have no sensory neurons, or is the 350 just more comfortable than the 370Z?

I’ve done Phoenix to LA and Phoenix to SF and back a few different times. Not bad at all. Road noise is a bit more than averwge, but otherwise comfortable. I’m also stock in a sport-base model (not nismo or modified). Better than a Miata and worse than an S5 lol. Totally do-able if you have slight tolerance to discomfort. Better than economy class in a plane in noise and legroom.

Edit: Phoenix to LA is like 6 hours, Phoenix to SF is about 11.

I just bought my Z not too long ago, but I’ve driven from Memphis, TN to Kansas City, MO 2x. Only about an 8 hour drive but my legs were begging to fall asleep

Harrisburg to Boston. 7 hours each way and I loved every second of it. My friend invited me to his place up near Sault Ste. Marie (about 14ish hours) and I'd love to take the Z.

Took my 2013 370Z Alabama to Seattle , across the northern tier (Wisconsin, Minn, N Dak, Montana, Idaho, Washington...............Return via Oregon coast, Cali coast, Nevada, Did all the Utah parks, then Albuquerque, Carlsbad Caverns , then home to Alabama via Texas and Interstate 10.................. 22 days of touring in total....

The Z never missed a beat, even with 102 degree air temps in Utah.

I moved to Milford, CT last year. I've done the NY to Boston trek many times. That's about as far as I've gone in the Z

My longest trips in the Z are:

Milford, CT to Alexandria, VA.
Newark, DE to Milford, CT.
Milford, CT to Old Orchard Beach, ME

Each one was an absolute blast. I can't think of a better GT coupe for the job!

Helluva trip!

And long, too.

Austin to just up the mountain at Colorado Springs. Was a blast. No comfort issues whatsoever.
