I have never bought anything from a PEP BOYS type store EXCEPT my NXT wax Some people need to take comprehension classes to UNDERSTAND WHAT THEY ARE READING You can't get rid of a ricer...by the way...just try and block them out as well as the 40 year olds trying to be cool with a $35,000 car. Which really doesn't make you any cooler..just abit pathetic...same with all the kiddies who talk **** on someone elses car cuz it isn't theirs.

Hellz yeah. Affectionately called the Taxi, I owned it a whole 9000 miles before I realized what the word "rice" even meant. It came from the dealership like this. However, I did install a B&M shifter and a remote entry system myself. I was PLANING on removing all the graphics, the retarded hood scoop (which you could see the damn hood below it through the front lol), and the wing. Thankfully, I wised up and sold it (for a loss, of course, but it was better to escape than hold onto it for longer...), and bought my 2000 Z28. Best deal evar.

What's crazy to me is how clean that car is with snow all over the road.
I'm one of those guys that's almost 40 with a $35K car but I love the thing. I could care less what others think of me but at the same time like some advice from time to time. I don't know about back East but you see some pretty crazy sh$% out here. I think I mentioned it on another post but we saw a newer hummer with no less then maybe 60 of those chrome Pegasus hood Deco's on the roof. They removed the roof rack and coated the whole roof with these things...damn I wish I would of taken a picture, it was really nuts... I bought one of those Radiator Steel braided cover kits in HS. Thing unwould, wrapped around my fan of my 69 mustang and just about ruined it. Luckily a waterpump later and I was back on the road but some of that stuff just sucks and shouldnt make it to retail. To each their own though I suppose.

I would say the loop makes the exhaust more quiet as it provides some restriction and breaks up frequencies and stops drone. The Nismo has less turns, less restrictions so its a little louder. The aftermarket CBEs dont really have any sharp bends so thats one reason they are louder and get the drone but more power.

Being a bit on the older side here, I will say this, The Z has always been more of an older mans ride when bought new. I remember my dad wanting one and when I was a teenager only older men had the Zs. Even when I was in my early 20s and wanted to buy decent cars the companies wouldnt let you if you had a certain % of your income going to bills, they check all your bills, not like today where they just check your income basically. So back then buying nice cars was harder than today and thats why you see younger people in nicer cars today for one reason. It was a bummer but then back then you didnt have what you do today, people buying over their head and not just in cars, and not really being able to afford it. So when I was a teenager all I saw was 30 -40 yr old men driving new Zs. I bought the Z more out of nostalgia, not coolness, as it was a car I wanted when younger. When I was able to afford nice cars the Z just wasnt made to the quality I liked until the 370Z, so I was buying other cars like Audis. I also think that is why older guys for the most part dont mod the car as much cuz they remember what the car is suppose to mean. Some might get more power for the car but not so much on the exterior mods. Just my 2 cents.

^ In complete agreement with steve on this one as well. Let's not forget the parents of overbearing brats that grew up with the notion that "driving" was learned by playing "Grand Theft Auto" and the like who actually purchase these vehicles for their kids. Really pathetic and not one bit of appreciation learned in the process. Shameful.

Enough said. One could just as easily generalize that a young woman with so many tats is compensating for something missing growing up and that she just needs a hug. I own a 2.3 million dollar house and drive a "35 thousand dollar car". How would you classify me just outta curiousity? Don't generalize, it's dumb and it makes you look ignorant. Just my |
