A short Narrative.
Most of you have seen my threads by now. I've got the Alignment sticky, the Track Prep sticky, the Lug Nuts sticky... ya know the nit-picky stuff.
- Yes, the images are large. Moving on... ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- In 2011 I purchased a new 370z I bought summer tires I bought winter tires I summer tires as track tires - don't do this btw I bought track brakes I had about 20 track days on this 370z. I learned how to drive RWD because of this car. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- In March of 2018 a 23 year old girl t-boned the Z while i was traveling approximately 35mph. The impact was just behind the front wheel... crumpling the firewall, a-pillar, and frame mounting point. After the repair estimate came back at $9,500 it was considered a total loss. I DROVE IT HOME FROM THE ACCIDENT - At which point it was picked up from my driveway on a flatbed and brought to CoPart. - I bet it doesn't drive straight now ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not to end on a sad-note, so i shall introduce the 370z's replacement... Meet the 2018 SS 1LE From near as i can tell by the power and sound... the Camaro SS is powered by a dragon. For those of you who don't know, 1LE package = Chevy's "track package" including:
I never pictured myself with this car, but nor did i picture having my loved Z ripped from my arms. So making lemonade. Cheers Last edited by osbornsm; 07-18-2018 at 08:14 PM. |

So sorry to hear about the Z
I bet you will be happy with the Camaro. It is a beast. I know a couple of people who are absolutely not Chevy people at all that ended up in a performance-oriented Camaro package and were blown away by the car overall. Plenty of things to nitpick, but the sum of what you get is pretty amazing

Sucks for the Z, but congrats on that 1LE beast!

Bad and good news (especially the end result).
Probably drives different, but still cool I bet. You have those 2 extra cylinders. I think some of us secretly think about wanting that on some drives. |

I could see myself in a new Camaro and even a Mustang for that matter. They are both nice looking, with a lot of "bang for the buck" as far as performance and handling.
Nice looking ride BTW...

my wife was debating Camaro or mustang. she liked both but the mustang had a bit better visibility and we happened upon a great deal- 2016 gt 5.0 with performance package, loaded, 435 hp, only 1600 miles. after 6 months she loves it.
