On a NA engine, the best it can do is zero restriction on the vacuum the engine is pulling on the intake... And changing the pipes into and out of the engine can only do a couple of percent on that - at best - which is usually within the realm of the ECU to figure out on its own. That and the VQ is fairly dialed in out of the box... There's just not a lot of hidden HP to find on such an established engine. So, in generic terms, after buying the license for uprev and paying someone to remap the car you're looking at about a grand for about 10whp and 7tq. By way of example, the NISMO VQ37 is technically full bolt-on and tuned and only generates an additional 18HP over stock. |
