0-60 ?
I understand that the Z does 5.0 in the 0-60 stock. Im considering adding a supercharger. Does anyone know what the 0-60 is with a supercharger?

It's not going to be significantly faster 0-60 if the tires are the same. Traction becomes a problem. Quarter mile time will drop, but you won't be able to go WOT until 3rd, so it's not a huge drop in 0-60.

My best run so far has been a 4.6 0-60, no forced induction but I'm running on 275 sumitomo HTRZ IIs and it was recorded at a local drag strip so my grip off the line was insane.

Just for perspective... 2018 Corvette Stingray ($67k) - 6.2L V8 - 460hp/465ft lbs - 0-60 in 3.9 sec 2018 Mustang GT ($34k) - 5.0L V8 - 435hp/400ft lbs - 0-60 in 4.4 sec 2018 Nissan 370Z ($26k) - 3.7L V6 - 332hp/270ft lbs - 0-60 in 4.8 sec And all of this can be narrowed down even closer by driver skill. I don't care what anyone says, these cars are NOT slow by any means, especially when you consider this is all being done with a 9 year old V6 against the latest and greatest V8's. |
Z isn't slow, it's just Rusty is too fast. Plus, his reference is a Viper ACR. :yum:
