And you are lucky guys because the price is around 44000 € (58000 $) there. But it's not the worst price in Europe: in Portugal the 370Z is around 70000€ !!!! (98000 $), no no it's not a joke.

Enjoy it, it's really an amazing car (and we don't have Yellow, it's a special edition 50000€ ...)

This was from a guy in France, man they really pay for thier cars. They must have a seriously high income everage there or something.
import tax. they can double or triple a car's price in some countries.

A GTS in the Phillipines would be 100K US dollars plus. The TTS is about 45K and is in the same performance range as the Z, 0 60 in 4.9 secs.

If I could I would have both cars as they really are two different cars IMO.
i double checked the video. you're right, they do show numbers. however, they tt rs got 0-60 in 4.5 sec. that's only one or two tenths faster than the z. for a car that's lighter, has awd, more power, more torque, that's not a lot at all. i know they got 5.9 sec for the z, but that has to be the worst 0-60 run ever in a z on the dry. either they didn't launch properly, or didn't get good traction. under ideal traction, many magazines were able to get around 4.7 or 4.8 out of the z.

the laptimes weren't too different. the tt rs was faster by 0.6 sec (98.9 vs 99.5 s), which isn't that much especially considering the traction and driveability advantage of the awd system.

the price difference between other countries you mentioned and the US (not that i care about the US since i'm not american) is due to import tax. the 56000 euros price is in europe. i don't think european countries put import tax on their own products. that price would put the tt rs straight into m3 or 911 territory

The TT RS costs 44k Euro in Germany so that about $62K here but I also see that their TT is $5k more there than it is here, so if the TT RS does come to the US it might be only $58K, not bad.

On another note I see that they have a R8 Spyder convert and it looks sharp as hell.

R8 Spyder < R8 < Models < Audi UK
actually thats 44000 british pounds. still that would make it 74000 dollars here. that's essentially cayman s price.

r8 spyder i think is new for 2010

Yeah I saw that. They seem slightly biased toward the TT (big surprise) but even they admit the Z is waaay more care for the monies.

Something I think few could disagree with: the Z is a way nicer exterior styling. I have to admit the TT interior looks significantly better, but what good is that when you're driving a sooped-up iBug?

On a lighter note, I love hearing "synchro-rev" in other languages. UND DRIVEN!

Was that brake fade on the TTRS they were showing at 7:50?

The Audi with quattro will routinely have better launches and 0-60 times. Our Z requires a skilled driver to pull off 0-60 in 4.7s every time.

Puerto Rico: Base model starts at $50,000. Killer prices in some countries, huh?! On the TT vs. Z discussion: My main concern is reliability; just check out both their records with CR magazine. Zs are "Much Better Than Average". I'll let you do your homework on the TT! Cheers!

I agree. The Z's exterior styling is FAR superior. However the TT-RS does take it in the exterior. The TT-RS is suppose to be a Cayman S fighter. That said, the Z's comparision to it and the fact that the numbers the review turned up were not much faster than the US Z's is very encouraging and should be classified as a win for the Z.

That said, the TT-RS is hot! And I love that it is a MT!

I don't know how the newest generation of TTs are but my dads older model is incredibly uncomfortable. I can't find a seat setting that is in anyway ergonomic and I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs.

I would buy this Audi in a heartbeat. I love the new styling - fit and finish is right there with porsche and bmw. However, I feel it is a bit overpriced. I would consider it in the 40k to 50k range - the latter being fully loaded. On the bright side, we are over looking the turbo - a $500 chip and it will be pushing 400whp+ spanking us all.

There are just too many cars putting down 300whp+ in the 35k-45k range for me to justify this one. Even some luxury sport coupes in this range.

The 2nd generation had much more seat room, 6 feet tall 250 pound guys would fit in it. I had both generations of the TT, loved them and had no issues with them breaking down for the 8 1/2 yrs I had them. 6 yrs on gen 1 and 2 1/2 yrs in gen 2. I do like the 370Z exterior better but not the 350Z compared to the TT. But TT interior was nice and quiet.
