The one big thing we're over looking is the turbo. A $500 chip and it will be pushing 400whp+ on relatively light chasis.

Thats true, I got 50 hp and 80tq from the chip but I only had FWD and launching was hard to do to get the benifits from it, but once I was going it was nice till the small turbo runs out of gusto. The TTS is $45K and has a slightly bigger turbo, 0 60 in 4.9 secs, chip it exhaust 0 60 in 4.5.

Now a SC or turbo in the Z and look out, it will fly.

The Audi with quattro will routinely have better launches and 0-60 times. Our Z requires a skilled driver to pull off 0-60 in 4.7s every time.

I have been able to get 0 60 in 5 secs so far using a Gtech.

Yea I'm still waiting to see a turbo kit or SC kit come to fruition, at least reasonably priced. That will make the 370z such a beast. Would like to run some!!

I've never had a problem running the stillen SC'd 350's at the track. We all know the new VQ is a different animal though.

370Z, Zsteve. Between import taxes, transportation charges, etc., etc., etc., politicians a dealerships make a b-u-n-d-l-e, down here. Only comforting fact is seeing that they're even more expensive in other countries--even with Euros, which are supposed to be stonger than the dollar. I've had many Europeans tell me that, in spite of the Euro's higher value (say, over the dollar), life is so expensive there that we're better off in the U.S.

I dont know were you get that info but the base 370Z here (Puerto Rico)cost $36-38K. For $50K u get the Nismo edition, still more expensive that in the US but not as bad as u make it appear.

In the RS price range: Exige S260, FTW. 0-60 in 4.0. *Much* cooler car.

IMHO, of course. I could care less about luxury and more about ability.

at least the z beat the lambo diablo. lol! seriously, there are some major inconsistencies in that list.

I know Mr. José Ordéix, V.P. and General Manager for Nissan at P.R. (Motorambar); I asked him about the 370's prices. What he told me is what I posted, amigo! I possess no ESP capabilities. BTW, the used 350 I bought ('04.5 Touring Coupe) cost $42, 975 its original owner, on November of 2003.

No you're not....I am one of the MK1 TT gurus and continue to spend a lot of time supporting that car. The MK 2 TT went largely ignored by the serious MK 1 guys Even though it's a better car...It was just a FAIL stylistically. The TTS is nice, but too late to the game with this driveline combo, too expensive, and (based on Audi's track record) will be far to costly to maintain down the road.....

Mod, you don't know anything about Audis...lol

Yea thats right! JK!

Even tho I used you for alot of advice in those forums and bought your stuff too. I still have your modshack intake sitting in my garage. I agree the MK2 is a better car than the MK1 but I actually like the looks better than the MK1 too, but thats just me. The kid that got my MK1 has basically killed the car within a year of owning it. What a waste.

Exactly! No arguments here! Cars nowadays are getting so much better that pricing on cars like the TT RS is almost unjustifiable. Creature comforts and luxurious features are to be found on the TT RS... but is that all to price it, as it is?
