Advantages of an auto sports package..

So the transmission choice changes how the brakes and diff feel? That's news to me, and everyone else. Like I said, the addition of the automatic doesn't change so much

So the transmission choice changes how the brakes and diff feel? That's news to me, and everyone else. Like I said, the addition of the automatic doesn't change so much that your earlier experience with your own sport package Z is not applicable. Use what's left of your mind and make your own decisions.

Thanks, I value your views and it appears that you believe that even with the auto, the 2015 sports package is the better car than the 2017 base coupe.

I left a message to the guy asking if we could meet and test drive each others car. His car fax is clean.

He has the 2015 Brembo brakes and 20k miles but it's auto.

I have the 2017 with 30k miles, also auto.

He likes my blue color.

Reasons to trade or not?
Akebonos...not Brembos. At least to my understanding.

Trade him and take the money you saved not buying the sports package and get it painted if you really want the blue. It’s simple the sports package gives you the rays wheels, LSD (even if only viscous its better than nothing), the spoiler, the bigger multi piston brakes and auto vs auto the sport gets paddle shifters.

This really isn’t a hard decision considering his has even less miles.

Basically all I'd do is take both cars to a dealer, get an inspection, and bam if his passes..

Unsure on the Sport package; but 2015’ is when the 3.692 diff ratio was added to the A/T Nismo & the sticks got a 3.92:1
75mph cruising rpm’s is 2550 vs 2800 (3.357 vs 3.692)

Well, you guys can take advantage of the sports. At 69, 95% of my driving is not qgressive, though fast.

The wife says I have a better color, newer seats and paint, a garage car...The differences are limited.

I will be meeting the other guy on Tuesday, still waffling...

Unfortunately, a couple of hours ago, a snow plow backed into my parked car, broken read bumper and dent. The shop where it happened has agreed to get it fixed and also arranged for a loaner car for me.

I called the guy who was interested in the trade and he politely told me he had reconsidered.

Still upset about the accident but have a Subaru Outback to drive till next week.

Decision made! I wouldn't will a black car on my worst enemy. While they are gorgeous, nothing can overcome how big a PITA they are to keep from scratching.
