Tpms question

On 2011+ models they changed the system and you can't use the tire pressure trick to get the sensors to relearn new sensors because there is no longer a wire

On 2011+ models they changed the system and you can't use the tire pressure trick to get the sensors to relearn new sensors because there is no longer a wire to ground. Until someone finds the wire to ground, I couldn't, the only option for new sensors is a Nissan reprogram.

I am really surprised this has not been attacked from a tuning perspective. There has to be a way to disable /trick the sensor., or at least the light.

As I understand it, there is no adverse effect to performance when the warning displays. It is just a warning that tire pressures either aren't equal, or that they are too low. It doesn't result in detuning the motor , for example. There is nothing to tune for, and no advantage to be gained, unless your running ovals, where you might have different pressures on each side. On purpose, lol.

It's not about detuning the motor, but turning sensors off or satisfying them through the ECM, just like you can change fan switch temps via tuning. Everything runs through the ECM. Just find a way to turn out the light & let us all know
