I hate not being able to drive it all year, but that's the price one pays for living in the North. Put her to bed in the garage 2 weeks ago with 28955 miles on the clock, but at least I see it every morning and evening when I leave/come home from work...
I cover mine so I don't see it daily but..... there are a couple times a year (usually closer to spring) where I'll peel back the cover just to have a peek!

Me too! I wash the car and then cover it for a week or two at a time. If I drive it again however I won't cover it until I wash it because of dragging the dirt and dust on the paint when I put the cover back on. The car is black so you can see EVERY SINGLE imperfection. It's honestly really stressful.

My Z is a 2012 touring/sport. I bought it used off the car lot in late 2015 with 10,700 miles on it. It now has 15,900 miles and has it's regular place in my garage. I do need to drive it more, I know. And I love to drive it! The nice thing about being in SE Colorado is it doesnt snow all that much, and when it does, melts off quick. But the big plus is they dont use salt on the roads here, just gravel.

On those nice sunny days beware of the salt dust left on the road!

Oldguy, they do use some salt here but it's mixed with lots of sand to minimize the run off crap from damaging the vineyards & fruit orchards.

Salt here, only salt . And we really don't get tons of snow up here in Toronto, but a few inches of snow, salt on every damn road.

They sure make cars a lot better than they used to. I have an '02 Avalon that is still rust free and has been through 15 Chicago winters. My old American cars would have been rusted hulks years ago. I still have the original exhaust system on the Toyota...knock wood. Plus, I haven't been the best at getting the salt off right away either. I'm not too worried about the Z.

We got a coating of snow yesterday, and I must have counted 5 snow plows throwing salt on the roads every half hour.

And so it begins...

Yeah, black is beautiful, it is also a bitch!
I have this routine after I drive but, that is a whole different story for a different section
