370Z Japanese voltage question...
Does anyone know if all 370Zs made, regardless of world region, have the same electrical system voltage level?
I'd like to buy the remote start on japanparts.com (as would MANY people on the forum), and I think this is the only thing that could prevent the system from being compatible with US cars (please correct me if I'm wrong)? arcticreaver gave me English-speaking contact numbers for Nissan Japan (thanks!), and I'll give them a call tonight. Anyone else have any ideas? As long as the system is compatible, I don't mind being the guinea pig. :) I appreciate your assistance... Thanks in advance. |
If Japanese cars use the same batteries, then they are the same voltage.

Can someone confirm? Also, if this is the case, are there any other issues I need to consider, or will this work for sure on my 370Z? By the way, as required by the website, I DO have the AT transmission.

OP, I'm guessing you're talking about this?

Yes AK, that's what I'm referring to. It is supposedly made for the 370Z, I just want to make sure it'll work on my car in the US with AT transmission.
