Default Thinking of thinning the herd

I am thinking of selling either my 2014 370z 6-sp touring w/sport package 16K, or my 2013 Porsche Boxster S w/ 24K. The reality is I enjoy both cars, but I just don't drive them enough and they sit in the garage most of the time.

I don't track my cars and they are mostly used for occasionally to and from work, but mostly a weekend car. Plus I live in the San Francisco Bay Area so I can drive either cars all year long.

Tough decision...........

For me? I'd consider whats cheaper to maintain if both were equal.

The German would have to go

My brother sold his box s many years ago for the same reason, maintenance and tires were more than he wanted to deal with at that time.

Let's see. A website/forum dedicated to Z enthusiasts, a bunch of enthusiasts dedicated to the 370 and other Z cars.
Yeah, we all think you should sell the 370. Lol.
What were you expecting to hear?

Actually, that is not true. I am actually leaning towards selling the BS.

The sarcasm font failed me, lol.
I figure the majority of the folks on here would say to keep the Z.

That is an option. I drove a 911 S one time and did not really do it for me.

Heh, you cross-posted (Thinking of thinning the herd).

Either way it should come down to what you enjoy driving most. You said the BS is more of a total package while you don't really drive the two much. Keep your total package and let the Z go. If it's a weekend/fun car, why bother keeping the "more practical one"?

Even as a Z owner to me it's a no brainer. Sell the Z.

Not sure where he said the BS is more of a total package, but I will agree that it is a better car, as I've driven it and the latest 718 version. However he doesn't track it, just occasionally to work and weekends in San Fran. In these scenarios you really don't get to feel the difference.

I'm guessing the BS will fetch more money and the Z in the long run will cost less in maintenance. If that's a consideration, sell the Boxster. If money is not a factor in the equation for you, keep the Boxster. Either way you can't go wrong and good luck in your choice.

Personally id keep the Boxster if money isnt an issue. After my S2k was totaled I underestimated how much I valued a open top sports car. I love my Z but I do wish it came with a T-Top like the 300zx.
