Beautiful Grand Sport! I went the same way (Z to GS) back in December - you're going to love that thing!

I hear ya...I was the same way at first! Seeing the taillights in person makes all the difference in the world, too. For whatever reason, they look a lot nicer in person than they do in photos.

Hehe...I get that the blue won't be for everyone. I'm a nut for blue to start with, and one of my goals when thinking of my next car was to spice up the interior a bit. Save for a two-tone "frost" interior in a 350Z years ago, I've almost always had single-tone grey or black interiors. Given those two facts, the first time I saw this interior, I almost needed a towel and a cigarette.

Here in the Charlotte Area, Seems like it's closer to 50/50 between the Vette and Z owners. Don't see a whole lot of Z Roadsters like I had, but see quite a few Z Coupes on the road around here.

gorgeous car... I think they went slightly overboard with the interior accents and now it looks like a 17 year old ricer from 1997 got hold of it. Coco Chanel.

Very bold seats. I like the blue stripes with the grey paint. Congrats, looks like a fun drive.

Beautiful car.... would love to hear about how you like the manual transmission and an overall review. are they more reliable these days?

Being a nut for blue/silver/gunmetal shades, I almost went nuts when GM unveiled the Grand Sport Collectors Edition with the Watkins Glen Gray/Tension Blue color scheme last fall. I was lucky enough to find one still available with a manual this late in the model year. Drove down to Atlanta last week to make the trade and bring this guy home:

Anyways...I've lurked here a lot more than I've posted over the years, but got a lot of good, helpful info here! Kinda been a shame to see Nissan continue to stand pat on the Z all this time. Hopefully they'll give it some fresh attention someday, and not let it die on the vine! (and here's hoping that any new one still comes with a manual trans, too )

Oh...and if anyone has been scouring the Interwebs for a well-kept, low-mileage, Gun Metallic 370Z Roadster (Touring + Sport)...you might want to look up the used car inventory @ Hendrick Chevrolet in Duluth, GA.
