4 ways flashing?

I had a weird thing happen twice in the last week.I had the heat on in the Z and when I was adjusting the temp knob the 4 way flasher blinked for about 3 seconds?Seemed weird and almost couldn't believe my eyes?
Then yesterday when doing the same thing the 4 way flasher blinked again for about the same amount of time?I tryed repeating adjusting the temp knob and nothing happened at all both times?
Apears something weird about the electronics in this car?Now some of you will say take it to the dealer but we all know it will for sure not happen when showing them as it won't do again after trying again and again. So I will keep an eye on it and will definetly report it to the dealer next time.
Was just wondering if anybody has had anything like that happen to them?

I can ask my service dept. if they've encountered this yet. By 4 way, do you mean the hazards? let me know and I'll get an answer tomorrow.

I have also seen this in my Z. It has happened twice, the hazards flicker real fast. you almost don't have time to see it happen. I was adjusting somthing with the climate control, I think it might have been when I turned off the A/C, but not sure? I thought I was seening things!

Both my blinker lights in the dash were blinking together like when the 4 way flasher is on!
Thanks also I would appreciate that!

Well it is good to hear someone else experienced that same thing. As you said you almost don't have time to see it happen. As soon as it happens it is over that fast.Almost thought I was imagining the first time until it happenend again yestersday.

You're probably just brushing the switch for the hazard lights, which is right below the dials you were playing with. The switch is fairly sensitive, and if you just press down on it lightly the lights will flash until you move your hand away.

I checked with my service dept today and they said they haven't had any customer bring this issue up, so they don't know what it could be.

Maybe :) I know I sat there one day when I was bored and was flashing the hazzards to the beat of the music.

The fingers used to dial this number are too fat. If you require a dialing wand mash the keypad now...

I believe you have a valid point there.I just touched the 4 way button and it blipped the blinker lights for a second.Well thanks and I will keep an eye on that.
