Never underestimate the convenience of keeping random hardware in a box. I managed to forget to order a few bolts and nuts, but i had enough lying around get the work done.

- New cat brace installed
- Driver side exhaust hanger re-installed. I couldn't do the passenger side as the bolt on that one was stripped. Extracting that requires tools I don't have so I'll deal with that side later.
- re-adjusted exhaust system
- re-adjusted my diffuser (strategic zip-tie supports until i get around to designing custom ones for the middle portion).
- installed new front undertray plastic side pieces. Added appropriate hardware
- re-adjusted the undertray positioning now that all of the correct parts are in their place
- installed new bumper screws as well as the plastic retaining clip that goes into the fender
- tied the washer fluid motor out of the way so it stops knocking against my fender.

And the result is now only the rattles from my SPL Endlinks!

So, my ethanol reading was high because my dash (powered off) was causing the voltage to read higher to the car. Now I just need to order the OBD splitter to verify whether the car reads the correct value when the dash is powered on. Unfortunately I cannot check both at once right now.

Added Z1 Oil Catch Cans.

BTW. I've got red Z1 PCV hoses if anyone wants them. I'm going to clean them up and post in the freebies thread, but I thought I'd mention it here.

I’m curious how much oil actually collects in the cans in these cars. I’ve heard mixed opinions on if they’re necessary or not

Based on the condition of my PCV valves with less than 10,000 miles, I'm going to guess it's a good idea in my case. Of course I've got over 149,000 miles on the car. More miles, more blow-by.

It's considerable after a few oil changes. On my car, one bank would have more sludge than the other.

Good to know. I’ll consider getting some in the future, especially since being boosted would only makes it worse lol

If you are running E85 you will see more condensation than anything. The drivers side can fills faster than the passenger side. It is more noticeable in the colder weather.

93 portion of the Flex tune is finished. Now we shall do E85.

I’ve been comparing so many different exhaust setups lately, but I just can’t find anything that beats the Motordyne (in my opinion)…about to bite the bullet and start the long wait .

imo, MD has that unique sound that sets it apart from other VQs on the road. I remember walking down the street and hearing my car (driven by the shop tech) and it is definitely worth it. I just wish it had resonated tips to further refine the note, but it's pretty stellar.

Though I'd go with the MCR crimson titanium if i were insane enough to spend 5K on exhaust.
