Picked up some oil... i have been using mobil 1 0w40 on my supercharged HR for a few years now. (stillen + v1 TG A-A kit) Anyone else running 0w40 on their supercharged Z's?
My initial thought was... Blackstone results show that using 0w40 has shown less wear. Especially on forced induction. But, then I thought about the gallery gasket issue. Maybe using 0w40 was bumping up the oil pressure when there was a failing/failed gallery gasket and thus... seeing less metals in the oil. Anywhooo... was a thought I had. I have to warm up my car for 10-15 minutes before I can go out driving... oil pressure at idle is at 120psi with 0w40. Last edited by NissanTracker; 04-21-2021 at 10:56 AM. |
