New tires and an alignment on the Z. And 3 nice days to drive the car.

It seems the stealership I bought the car from pulled a fast one on the back tires. They dismounted them from their original wheels, and swapped them side to side, so the worn part was on the outside instead of the inside. That explains why it was so squirrelly in the rain. I suppose the alignment being off a little bit didn't help matters either. The car feels planted again.

Man, it's been so long since I installed the Stillen intakes that I've forgotten what the stock air boxes look like!

After months of anticipation, I finally dropped off the car at NM Imports in Albuquerque, NM. They're doing KW Coilovers, Fuel Anti-starvation kit, and A2A Supercharger.

Pics when it's done!

I don't know if someone pointed it out before but I hope those lug nuts you got on your OEM Rays have a ball seat and not a tapered seat like most aftermarket lug nuts have.

Ouch! Should be $150-$175 to have the wheel corrected and refinished.

I've had my car since 17 and i dont know how many times i've done this trying to park downtown. I am actually the worst. i need to get both fronts fixed as i curbed one, got new tires put on (and they mounted them to opposite sides) and promptly curbed the other.

Moar on-topicness: I finally got my damn O2 sensors replaced. Codes are gone now as well. +1 for Austin Z Clinic

lol, ok, i think i need to modfy my tune now. the codes are back after we replaced both primary O2 sensors and secured the cats to the header with all three bolts. there was a bit of an exhaust leak last time but dang.

I'll try cleaning the MAF sensors, but I've done that fairly recently. I'll have to see if those are bothering it. If the codes are thrown because it's complaining about the air-speed between sensors 1 and 2 being different i'll just have to get the ecutek software and shut that code off.

Doing a deep internet search now as I think i've found the source of the problems. Voltage looks OK on the sensors, but I don't know what this measurement is supposed to be. This is with the car off, but I'll check it with the car on.

I have charge up my Pixel 3 as my rpi Torque software is sketch and wont let me email myself the data logging session i did -_-

Did some data logging last night and the AFRs were all over the place. This morning I went and got some ultra copper RTV to seal the metal gaskets to my HFCs (and finally splurged on some tools, thanks ATT promotional card). Since my car is older and has had hardcore heat cycles from track work, those header flanges are warped.

I added a modest layer of RTV around the gasket opening (both sides) and put everything back together. Tomorrow we'll see if I actually fixed it.

More space in the new garage (slight flex but not really as there's nothing in it.)

And here you can see obvious signs of leakage. Both the driver and passenger sides weren't doing ****:

And now it's curing for the rest of the day:

Sounds like a lovely excuse for new headers/test pipes!
