They waited for me to open box.You could tell by condition of box it was damaged.
Filled out a damage sheet on the spot.
Manufactory worked out a deal with me for cost of damage.
I do not know if they got something from the carrier.

Had some damage pictures on old phone.Could not find.
Hood was cracked in the middle and one corner was broken off.
This is a personal opinion on ascetics.A lot of people leave CF hoods unpainted.
Shows I bought expensive hood. Will gray over time.
I like the look better showing some CF or painted.

Got the car back! Now it's time to break in the clutch. It feels SO different with the CMAK. The clutch is actually super light and I can feel the pucks when they hit the flywheel lol.

WR did some extra work under the car making sure it's put together right. New Transmission fluid in there too. They opted for MT-90, Which feels smooth right now so we shall see how that goes. I usually use 85, but I know some on the forums prefer 90.

The MT-90 should give you a slightly longer change interval since it holds up to the heat a little better. Both are good fluids

Signature required. They did not notify me.

So now I have to wait 3 days for them to pretend they’re attempting to deliver. Then leave work early without pay, bother a friend with a truck, and drive 45 minutes one way to pick it up. And hope they didn’t close the store early and leave randomly like they often do, otherwise I have to do it all over again.

Z1 contacted me back twice on the matter.

They pretty much bent over backwards for me it seems.
My next order will be here next week (just a extended lug stud tool)
And we will see exactly what they did.

But they were quick to respond, explain, and offer viable solutions to my issues.
I’m satisfied and will order from them again.

Good to hear. Recently they seem to be getting more complaints than compliments regarding their customer service, so I'm glad they are taking care of you. As they should.

Naw, they were just trolling the forum and saw his avatar. Sway, was one of their messages "We'd like to get you.. err, your Z on the dyno..."?

Their egos seem to have grown with the facebook groups throwing their names out like they are the only company that sells products for the Z. Barely a mention for ZSpeed, CJM, RJM, ConceptZ, SOHO, etc.

FB groups are all "Z1 is the greatest ever! Dat Tomei dah! I just dropped my instagram handle. Follow me and I'll follow youuu!!!"

I'll take blame for the Tomei crap. As soon as people heard the Z33 version I had on my car, everyone wanted it.

I actually just bought a Tomei from them. But it’s because my exhaust weighs over 9000 lbs and my tuner said I could pick up more tq and hp with a single exit

Kudos to them
.. but it really shouldn't take a customer(s) complaints to provide good service. Preventing fires always beats putting them out

Idk.. you know what they say: a pound of pure is a helluva lot more fun than an ounce of prevention...
