You have any kind of slick wiring/connector for your battery tender? I need to get one... my car sits too much these days.

I have a battery tender jr. tender that has a pigtail that attaches to the battery and allows me to plug in the tender.

Here's mine:

pigtail:https://www.amazon.com/Battery-Tende...8T8K1595BQ6Q34

The tender comes with the pigtail, but I forgot to grab my old one off the totaled 2012. :/

Thanks for the tip, fixed and off the bumper. Did a video shot landscape but when I played it back, it shows sideways. Gonna have to reshoot to upload.

Cut, sheathed, and fitted new Aeroquip lines for my oil cooler. Put a bit too much force into the wrench on one fitting and tore the table vise out of my chitty HF workbench. Fitting is fine though!

New project: build a workbench that can withstand me. Reinforced concrete with a depleted uranium top might be the only option...

My work bench is a piece of 7/16" thick x 3' deep x 8' long steel plate that is bolted to the floor and wall.

I got it at a local fab shop years ago, 1990's. Think it was a left over piece from a job they just finished up.

I was the biggest fan of HF. Then one of their jackstands failed - bar holding the locking mechanism sheared - while I was under my car. My shorts went straight in the trash. Brought the offending jack back to HF and the register clerk, a laid-off Motorola engineer, enlightened me as to the issues with Chinese metallurgy.

The next day I came back and returned the other three. Bought a Quickjack, which is not a euphemism for a lot lizard, and have never been happier.

Chinese metallurgy, what a joke. They don't know how to heat treat. They make it too hard and brittle, or too soft. Anything that I have to trust my life with. I stay away from the chinese junk.

I've seen pictures of their failed jackstands. That's some scary sh!t. I have two of them also.

I wish I had a garage instead of just a carport, I'd have a Quickjack. That's why most of my work get's done by a shop.
