What did you do with your Z today V (ON TOPIC DISCUSSION ONLY)

Looks good. I got my new 150 psi oil pressure gauge from SpeedHut today. Got it installed. The interior put back together, and I'm cleaning it now.

Thanks. It's a fun little project. A lot more fun than it's going to be running all the sensor cables.
Post up some pics of your new gauge.

I'm feeling stupid. I searched in Speedhut for "oil gauge" and went through five pages of results and all the ones in psi went to 100. I recall you said to be certain to get the 150psi. Now some of them are marked as 14 bar which is equivalent to 200psi. Was it one of those you specc'ed?

I'm considering putting some money together with bonus next spring to "enhance the ride" and the oil gauge is on my list. (also 34 row and stretch quaife diff)

I hope this finds you well

Order this gauge. In the gauge Notes. Write "Instead of PRESS PSI. I want it to read OIL PSI". It will cost you an extra $10.00. It will take them a month or so. Also, see if you can get a wiring harness that is about 3 ft longer. I had to add 3 ft to mine.

Installed an LED/Switch into one of my switch blanks to act as mute button and power/alert LED for my Uniden radar detector. I previously had the escort smartcord switchblank mod but sold it to nomodsjk when I ditched my MAX360.

The little orb is amber in person and matches some of the interior lights pretty well. Hope to get everything cabled up and put back together tomorrow night or this weekend!

Default new shoes

So the factory full summer tires were at 23k and the days are starting in the upper 30s and running to the low 60s. On rain a few cold days these things were alarming, so I went back to Michelins (I've run them on my last three sedans and my pickup with good results). Gran Turismo East took care of me, been doing business with them for a while.

They said something interesting:
The rear tires are factory at a -2degree camber. They said it was to help prevent spinout, but at the cost of uneven/premature wear and that there is a kit that will put in a different adjusting cam and provide a greater degree of range so the rears can run flatter (larger contact patch). The 370z is also my first car where you don't rotate tires, which I can't imagine won't lead to a shorter lifespan as well. They also said that as the springs fatigue, the degree of camber increases and that the left rear on my car was at -2.3, out of factory spec of -2.2 to -1.2.

I think I'm going to put some miles on these (considering spending turkey day running the dragon's tail) and see how they wear in/if this is an issue. If it does, it may be on the list for round 2 along with the differential.
