Complete Custom 3.5'' Exhaust There's parts lists and videos down page. You have to thumb through the first video's at the top right of the player to get to the ones with the exhaust. Way too high pitched for me. Other than that I found Apex'i uses a megaphone inside some of their mufflers and ISR uses megaphones in their Y-pipes when using a search engine entry of "370z megaphone exhaust". The video noted a megaphone typically produces a higher pitch exhaust note, not something I'd personally want with the VQ's engine exhaust characteristics as demonstrated by the forum video's I linked above.

I finally got around to installing brake cooling ducts. I was pondering a super detailed job, but in the end I settled with a pretty simple solution. I just routed two pipes (not too large, around 2,5" diameter) right next to the splash tray and over the sway bar towards the middle of the wheel. It's not super accurate and it's probably not as efficient as it could be, but I'm sure it will be better than stock.
I also cut the entrance of the tubes with a long V on the bottom side, so it's a wider entrance area but also so that rocks and trash wouldn't get scooped up that easily. It's not much, but for now it will be enough.

The replacement headlight came in early last week and it is definitely much better. There's a sharp cutoff on the low beam with a decent spread of light. (Pics to come later)
I did however get some sound clips of the car: |

I installed a crappy Ebay spoiler to go with my Aeromotions. i got sick of seeing the poor thing collecting dust so I decided to experiment. It required some trimming and admittedly, it was not my best work. However, that's why I bought an Ebay one and not a real NISMO spoiler) Lots of cutting.
![]() Side note, I would love to have a new NISMO. They really fixed the front end of the car. I just can't fathom paying 70K for a Z. I'd rather buy a 380RS and let it sit in Japan until I could import it. |

![]() It comes with a 3in wheel. But, I would def recommended getting the one with the 4in wheel. Process was not too hard. Took my time measuring and taping the templates. And I would take breaks so the batteries can charge and the tool can cool off. Probably a 5-6hr job. The best part of the job. Is explaining to the wife why I am "upgrading" my car. ![]()

I don't know how hot it gets in SC, but it's worth the upgrade even if you are not running forced induction. My when moving rarely go above 187F. on a nice day, they hang around 183-185F. The rate at which heat is removed after stitting still is amazing. I only have the center vent too. Just make sure all of the plastics inside of the bumper are in place and in working order. Those air guides improve efficiency. |
