Most responsive for best price on the market. Gets real bright at night so I bough some gray plastic sheets that theatre guys like EW put over the theater spotlights, then cut multiple pieces to fit over the LED display.

I honestly dont know how I drove a car without one of these.

Can you please link us to where to find those sheets to put over the led display???

thanks,

Yes, definitely don't forget the tool. I forgot the tool. Saw some smoke coming off the pipes when I started her up; realized the source was all the blood I'd lost on those ties.

Haha. I have a few razor blades waiting for me on the G when I finish the exhaust. The tool make it easier and safer

I can't wait to see the smoke coming off the Z when it's back together. Between the wrap and the coating that needs a few heat cycles to cure plus the clutch chatter it will look and sound like i made it worse instead of fixing it

So what did I do to my 2019 Z today ? Received Sprint booster. Installed it and I have to say it did not take 15 minutes. More like an hour. That being said the hardest part was disconnecting the plug from the back of the throttle pedal. I was afraid I was going to break it. So went on line watched several videos but none were really for the Z car. I gave it one more shot and I guess I found the release area on the plug and it came right off. Plugged in the unit, screwed the pedal back down, ran the wire and tucked it under different panels. You cant see the wire at all that goes to the control switch if you take your time. Also made sure the actual Booster at the pedal was not being crimped or would interfere with throttle. Took it out for a ride and what a difference. Throttle response is incredible !!! If you own a late model Z with Exedy clutch you know the 1st to 2nd gear shift on a manual trans is difficult to get smooth. Seems no matter what setting you put the unit on it makes the 1 - 2 shift very clean and downshifts are cleaner also. So far I like the green 8 setting but did use the red 9 for a blast. It was quite potent ... Will drive around for a while and see where the setting needs to be for daily driving. I know there are many pros and cons on this unit but for me I think it really helps the responsiveness of the car and I believe it could take a 10th of a second off 0 to 60 times just because of how fast the car now reacts. I'm glad you like your sprint booster. But don't be fooled into thinking it makes your car any faster. Mashing the gas pedal down faster gets you the same results

I know this item is VERY controversial. That being said when car manufactures first went over the electronic F.I., most of the cars still had throttle cables. This made for fast wide open throttle. Basically it was a 1 to 1 reaction to how far and hard you hit the gas pedal. When vehicle manufactures when to computer controlled "drive by wire" pedals they built in delay. This especially on early drive by wire cars they needed that small delay to let the computers determine air / fuel inlet. Years later computers in cars have come a long way but most all drive by wire cars still have delay built into the throttle body. Yes its small maybe one tenth of a second but if it takes one tenth of a second to get to wide open throttle then the car reacts slower. If items like the Sprint booster cut that time and open the throttle blades 8/100's faster then your 0 to 60 time has to improve. Sprint booster almost gives you the 1 to 1 reaction "on the red race 9" setting that carb and throttle cable vehicles had in the past. Just my opinion and I know there is NO Horse Power gain with Sprint booster, that being said throttle response and car reaction is quicker. Today I like it. Maybe next week I won't.

One tenth of a second is being extremely generous.

Yea you're probably correct on that. Maybe 6 one hundreds of a second would be closer.

My philosophy is, if you like what you're doing to your Z, then good on you and keep doing it!

Zoom Engineering Monaco 240 mirror in action for the first time. At first I thought it was far too wide (it still kinda is) but I am loving anti-glare tint and no longer having a massive rear spoiler-induced blind spot.

And if you couldn't tell from the pic, I really, really miss the 350Z's minute/second timer.

Had a similar incident in my front yard several years ago. Woman in a SUV crossed the center line, well off the road, went down through a couple rows of trees lining a very old roadbed before taking a sharp turn back toward the road and became stuck between a few trees. Off-duty cop coming the other direction witnessed it and got there shortly before we did. When we got there, she was still hitting the accelerator trying to drive out of it and he was reaching in to kill the ignition. The words of the first responding cop were, "How in the hell did this happen?"

She apparently had had a seizure and was released to her husband who showed up a half-hour later. Cops were totally unconcerned about her continuing to drive subsequently. I sometimes wonder how often I have passed her on the road since then

Default Almost had it

So last weekend I did the fronts for my brand new Annex Suspension coilovers. Now this weekend I tried to install the rears. Passenger side went smooth as butter, I always make sure to blast all the bolts and nuts a day before to soak so they are easy to take off the next day.

However, the driverside bolt holding the damper will not come loose for anything. I tried a flamethrower, PB blaster multiple times, breaker bar, impact gun, and those sockets used to remove striped nuts and bolts

Here is the end result of my rage and agony
