awesome saying. As for the handling on the cobalts. Stock wise they suck, but with lowering springs and a sway arm its awesome. And if they were out i would have gotten a SS/TC instead of my SS/SC....stock the SS/TC are making 240ish whp....just with a tune it goes to 310whp.
Wow...alot of people got the car cuz of their wife..lol |

I decided that I was sick of my '07 350Z due to lack of aftermarket support and wanted to get something new. The 370Z was on the top of my list, but I also took a look at the Evo X, 335i and Genesis Coupe. The Evo was fast and handled like it was on rails, but I hated the interior. The 335i was a disappointment - I didn't particularly like the interior and the car just didn't seem like a good value. Not to mention they're like Civics around here. The Genesis Coupe was great, but lacked power and the price would've been almost the same as the 370Z. The looks, power and the synchro rev-match tranny is what pushed me over the edge to get the Z.

I had the 350z for a year before I heard about the 370z in the making. Saw all the spy shots month after month..and I said to my husband.." I'm so sorry...but I don't care if my loan is $40,000...I'M GETTING THE NEW Z!!!!!" I haven't heard any complaints from him yet after 10 months of a very high car note!

I really wasn't going to jump from my 350 to a 370 but a 370Z Nismo made me change my mind. However I could not get the only Nismo left in this area because the stealership didn't want to "budge" on the price and settled for a Base w/Sport package in another dealer.

I originally wanted a used 350z, but I was way broke at the time. When I finally made some money, the 370z's were about to be released. Once I saw the pics of them, I instantly fell in love. I researched the 370z for about 10 months and picked it up on my 31st B-day.

For me, it was the fact that the Z offered Porsche Cayman S performance, at a price that was lower than even a base Boxster, coupled with classic Nissan reliability. I was really leaning towards a Porsche, but hearing my boss complain about $400 oil changes turned me on to the Nissan.

My response may dissappoint many here but here it is:
I was looking for a good handling rwd manual car, with xenons (i do a lot of night driving), that can take golf bags. Surprising there were very few cars that could take golf bags in the boot without folding the back seats down (this was a killer criteria)... Other cars that fit the above criteria were the IS250 and that was about it... the new 3 series and merc c class cant do it when you put the good sound system in...!!!... Anyway it came down to the 125i BMW coupe and the Z, bang for your buck the Z won hands down, it looked better so it was a no brainer in the end... What would surprise people here is that as long as the car was sub 0-100km/h in under 7s it fit my buying criteria... if there was a 2.5L version of the Z and it did 0-100 in 6.8s, i'd get it =) don't shoot me... Styling did it for me. Gorgeous car. Wanted to do it now (age 61), before aging knees and hips would make the car unsuitable 5 or 10 years down the road. Sure glad I pulled the trigger. Excellent deal (below invoice) and the car has been a joy to own and drive these past two seeks.

What made me get the 370z? Lack of options and med school graduation present to my self. There really aren't a whole lot of cars in the same segment. Honestly if subaru still made the STI in a sedan I probably would be driving that right now. Don't get me wrong, I love Z's and have been a huge fan for over 10years now. Still own my 280z and 300zx that I've had for 10yrs. Still, I would have prefered an AWD FI car with the same styling and interior as the 370z. That being said when the new Subaru STI 2-door comes out in the next couple years I may jump to that depending on the final specs of the car. Then again in the next couple years I might just move up to a GTR or Audi R8 instead. Got to get my med school loans in order as well as buy a house before I change cars.

I was in the market for a front engine, RWD car, with 2 seats that could perform. I looked at 350Z's a couple of years back but decided that there were some draw backs in the 350 (personal taste and interests), I later learned that a 370Z was in the works. I was impressed how much nissan improved on the old platform (engineering and quality wise), loved the looks, performance, quality, and added it to the stable a few months back. I basicly was looking for a true sports car that could perform and so far the Z's exceeded my expectations.

towards the end of the 90's I feel in love with the 300ZX, I was about 17 when I got my license in 1998, I worked a lot in high school and wanted a 300ZX but I knew getting a loan for a car that was 5-10 years old and that pricey, it wasn't really going to happen. My love for the Z never died even know I didn't own one.
I purchased a 350Z, had it about a year but sold it because I didn't want to pay high payments knowing the 370Z was dropping in a couple years which afforded me the luxury of purchasing a 300ZX to drive around in for a couple years. It was a true gem, 1995 300ZX with 35,000 original miles when I bought it, I planned to purchase a 370Z down the line (April was my target date) but when I found a good deal, I just pulled the trigger and on 11/12/09 the rest is history! ps - my beautiful 300ZX will remain my avy, I thought about keeping her but it didn't make any sense...I will miss you darling!
