Anyone else get a letter about Evap tube from Nissan NA?

I got the letter and noticed that recently, the pump shuts off before the tank is full every time. I called the dealer and said the CEL should pop up

I called the dealer and said the CEL should pop up if this is the issue. They said they'd visually inspect it...which won't do anything. Anyone know if this is true? I guess it could also be my gauge not being correct.
