Disabling VDC
Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum and I have some doubts in disabling the VDC Is the M143 the correct wire to cut in order to disable the VDC? GROUND DISTRIBUTION http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...pslt2kzrfu.jpg HARNESS LAYOUT http://i305.photobucket.com/albums/n...psbdw4qlo9.jpg Thanks, Kam |
There is a thread on here on which wire to put a switch on. I would not think you would want to leave it off all of the time.
|
Could you please share the link to the thread you have mentioned? I have tried to search VDC but nothing came up. Thanks!
I did plan to install a switch in it but I need to be sure of which wire to cut so I can solder it in. |

If the site's search isn't finding what you want, use any major web search engine and add "site:the370z.com" to your search string. Eg, yaw site:the370z.com

My car is a 2017 370z Nismo and the wire color may not be the same as previous models. That's why I was trying to confirm if the M143 wire is correct one to cut and letting me know the color code would be nice too. I thought I should try to give it a shot in this forum to see if anyone can help. |
I thought at least EcuTek could do something about VDC/TC without cutting anything. Both are ways to ruin your warranty, but technically you can always flash back to stock vs. having to mess with hardware.

Look here
http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...er-switch.html Simply check the wire colours ......... |
FWIW, the thread above worked fine for a 2016. Hardest part was selecting a proper sized switch.
