I-POD with Navi

With the purchase of my 370z looming in the near future I was thinking about the I-Pod functionality of the NAVI unit. Im sure it works with the Ipod Video but should I get myself a new touch or dare I say I-Phone. do these new products have my functionality with the nav such as playing videos and such.

No that is why they give you Audio Visual ports to use a Portable multimedia player (DVD). Plus the Iphone will not send/recieve calls when plugged into the interface, although it will still play the music.

I just use my Ipod nano and skip the hassel with my Iphone

I figured as much in my overland I have the you connect hands free through the speakers but my friends I-Phone he swears hooks up to his 09 altimas somehow just was wondering because that sounded crazy with txt on the screen and stuff... I havent been back to jersey to see it myself so...
