Keep driving it. If you ever think its time to get rid of it you will be like "its not worth that much anymore" and you can KEEP IT!

Or by the time you get to that point, there will be thousands of parts laying around, control arms, bushings, motors, etc that you can put on it and it will be like new again!

A friend has an S2000 with 240k on the chassis and 40k on the motor. Over 30k a year on that chassis and all is well!

Wow I only put on 3600 in 6 months, Then again I didnt drive it if it was raining or had a chance of raining, or just running to the store... I drove it for the purpose of just going for a drive in it

Man the way I see it is its a car that was ment to be driven. you didnt pay 30k+ for it to sit in your garage. Enjoy the thing.
and about the whole hurting the value of your car, Id rather live rich than die rich. IMO

I might drive mine 6,000 miles in one year...might!

But I will enjoy my car in the Spring and Summer, and Fall not in damn Winter.

I'm with you. I have other cars for commuting and runs to the store. My Z is like a boat...a pleasure craft, yeah, that's it. When I take it out it gets driven for fun.

Dude, it's your car and you worked hard for it...drive it the way you want to. As for me, I keep my Z as a weekend driver/date car. IMHO, Houston roads are too jacked up and the traffic can be brutal to be driving manual everyday. I get upset if I drive her more than 100 miles per week. But hey, that's just me.

Who cares about the mileage! Why don't you keep driving it like a Rock Star.

U hav a long drive to work. I can see y u take the Z out. Might as well make it fun. But I would take the beater out every few days just to give the Z a rest. And to keep the feel of the car fresh.

if you plan on keeping it and paying it off then drive it all day long but if you plan on selling it or trading up drive your crv cause a high mileage sports car is worth crap . just go into kbb or nada and price out for example an 07 350z with average driving of 10-12k miles per year so lets say it has 22k miles and then price one out with 68k miles the way you drive and you will see a huge difference in pricing.

I hear ya, the roads in Dallas and Houston are totally F"d up...... Potholes and crack galore. I have 3 choices of cars and my 370 now has 9,000 miles after 8 months, still roll the Max strong as well! I drive and you know in Htown and DFW as they are very spread out you can roll a ways to get to things, man Drive that Z.

Damn, that's a lot of miles. I've had my car for 11 months and have 8k miles. I've been driving my truck the past week since we've had temps below 10 and freezing rain today.
