Maybe they were. But you haven't given any information except that they drifted fine earlier in the day and not later. It seems that it could be a combination of electronic nannies that are still active and grippier (warmer) tires.
You should really put in a switch to turn off YAW control if you're going to be drifting. The ABLS (part of ABS) applies the rear brakes when slip is detected even with VDC OFF ![]()
