I stay away from those pools.

Agreed. That's why I'm trying to sell my 370 there for an absurd amount of money.

I don't post as much as I used to since Apple did away with RSS feeds in Safari and Mail.
It was a whole lot easier to see new threads and/or posts with that method.

Our cars are reliable, and every imaginable mod has been long sorted out. How many exhaust, intakes, lowerings and sound systems can you do over?

Most Z people do not track their cars. On our Lotus site, Lotustalk, our cars are prone to niggles and most of us mod for lap times not cars shows. We just had a new model, the 400, out this year. There aren't a lot of sites over here for Lotus. We be pretty busy there.

If/when a new model comes along things will pick up.

I just wish that more people came to the forum to give me advice on the Rockstar truck wheels I want for my Z. :( Bonus points for what camber I have to run to fit the 24's!

Just my two cents....

This forum SAVED me from walking down a path I am thankful I did not.....

I was in a F*cking Subaru dealership about to grab a '17 STI Limited....

But the NISMO,,,, and you lovely folks.... saved me <3

I love you all.

Sincerely,
A 29 year old ******* from Boston

At least he's young. Still room to grow.

One for winter and one for summer.

seemed like a few years ago there'd be new relevant posts and what not, now besides a handful of posters its pretty much dead.

I know there are 370 owners out there, the cars just suddenly didn't vaporize.:tiphat:

because you aren't a premium member

if you were, you would see that the forum is alive and well

Yea, its dead...so what?
I owned a Hellcat and that place was really active all the time with problems, and supercharger melt downs and new stupid modifications. This car is reliable so no drama all we have is a silly 2k fix CSC...that is really no big deal compared to the performance cars I have had - so I am loving it. Plus this car is easy as hell to work on, service manual is available for download, and old threads basically are all you need making the forum still a great resource. ... Let me ad that I have owned tons of cars in my life and this one is my favorite from all aspects ... all those idiots who moved on or so called "upgraded" no they didn't. Until you own the options - you will want them, but once you have you wont...:ugh:.

SouthArk370Z 03-13-2017 09:58 PM

The site may not be quite as active as it once was but, as mentioned above, it's an eight year old model (with only very minor changes through the years) and most of the problems have been thoroughly discussed. It is far from being dead, though. Still one of my favorite places on the Web and I haven't owned a Z in several years.

2. As grumpy old guy stated. Questions have been answered.

3. This has become more of a social site so people pop in and out and comment, more than actually participate.

4. Most of the hardcore enthusiasts bought other cars.

5. All the posers bought mustangs and BMW's.:roflpuke2::stirthepot:

6. There are a lot of used car rear window Louvre people posting threads here now and none of the OG's are not wanting to read it.

7. Lastly, the only news moving people is Z35 news.

:iagree: now its too late to sell a 370 at a decent price.

But with all honesty my Z still never stop to amuse other people and I still find it as one of the most beautiful sports cars ever designed. I'll probably keep mine and my son will inherit it.

I've been a member for less than a year so I can't really speak on what this forum may have been in the past, but in that brief time it has been an extremely valuable resource to me. I check in on a daily basis and try to contribute as much as often as I can. Perhaps things aren't what they once we're but complaining never solved anything either.
