These clutches typically catch and release right near the top and don't need to be pressed anywhere near the floorboards. Heck I have a 30" inseam which isn't terribly long and would have to tip toe it to the floorboards, and I'm just barely under 6' Last edited by ChaseZ; 03-10-2017 at 12:52 AM. |

Same here. No problem for me either. I do like to sit on a cushion, to elevate my eye level slightly, or I find the exterior mirror blocks oncoming traffic sometimes.

You may just have to learn to modulate the clutch with a mostly extended leg. You don't need to push the clutch pedal past the point of engagement/disengagement. In fact, your clutch system is probably better off with you not pushing the clutch pedal all the way to the floor as that just stresses the master cylinder seals prompting premature failure.

For the actual adjustment you're increasing the "bite" window so to say. |

There you go.... if you just need the clutch pedal to sit a little higher, then maybe all you need is an RJM pedal. Plus, everyone that has one thinks it's the greatest thing the universe.

My problem is that I need a telescopic capable steering wheel, i.e. too tall. That or I need my arms to grow about another 4 inches...

it sounds like you might be pushing the clutch to the floor which you shouldn't have to do. as other have said you barely have to push the clutch in for the clutch to disengage. if i had to push the clutch the whole way in id have to move the seat the whole way up also and im 5' 10"
