Default Hit debris again!

Last June I hit a tire on my way home from work on Fla turnpike.
Now this morning at 5am on my way home ,it happened again! I never seen the tire , just a big bam! It was still dark out and I am tired from working 13 hrs ,but I knew it was tire debris from the black mark on the bumper. it will need a new splitter and paint work for sure. It also caught the ground effect under the driver door. I made a claim as soon as I got home and will be taking her in to the shop on Monday. I didn't make a police report since i just kept driving home and that is where I discovered the damages. The Rep didn't ask me about a report but the adjuster may ask. Hopefully it is not a problem.

DOH ! I hate that......but it looks like it could have been a lot worse....I'd say you were more lucky than unlucky.

I was planning on new tires on Monday,I will after I get her out of the Z hospital.I am hoping they replace the whole bumper as it is torn from the splitter ,even the fender at the headlight has popped upward. The car was so perfect prior to this ,I dont want to even look at it

Hate to see and hear OP. Sad how many people don't check basic tire pressure and condition on their vehicles. Last week, i saw at least 10 pickup trucks with trash flying out of the bed area. I hit a truck tires tread about 8 years ago in my daily driver on the freeway (couldn't miss it) main thing I walked away without a scratch, good for me my bumper was popped back in place with just a minor blemish left behind. Keep ya head up.

I completely understand how you feel Louie.. it friggin sucks...

I had my Weber Sports kit finished on 7/4/16, then on 9/3/16 a rolled rug popped off a truck in front of me on the freeway and hit my front bumper. Needed a whole new bumper plus paint and re-fitment of other parts. Got my car back in mid November from the fixes and on Thanksgiving I end up having bag of gravel come off a landscaping truck and demolish my new front bumper and passenger wheels.

Car just went in for yet a new front bumper and paint and still haven't fixed the wheels..

Don't feel bad. I'm on my 3rd splitter. Broke one on the street, and the other two on the track.

Breaking anything on the track is better than on the street.
