Who uses Torque Pro for 370Z
Can using Torque Pro replace the need for gauges.
Instead of spending over $1K on new gauges when i do my TT build, can Torque Pro show: Wideband (A/F) Engine oil temp Engine oil pressure Automatic Transmission oil temp Cheers. |
i dont use it but does it take logs? difficult to be staring at a/f while u're wot and pointing da car away from a tree or light pole.. :ugh:
|
Torque definitely logs, for the rest of the gauges just get Pro for your phone and see if you can add those. From there you can add a tablet, or in my case Android HU to get a permanent solution.

Nice

You'll still need the appropriate sensors. Anything that reads OBD data will only have the parameters that the ECU reads. You'll need the wideband and oil pressure sensors.
|
I thought the car already has wideband sensors from factory?

They won't do what you want them to do. You'll need to add the additional sensor.

You'll need to weld in an additional bung somewhere.
|
Ok. Thanks.

My Berk Hi Flow Cats have an additional bung ready to go for wideband or whatever on either side. I love Torque. They have a Nissan specific download for testing some extra parameters from what Torque offers on its own.

I use it as well.

I can get AFR for both banks from Torque... Oil pressure is definitely not available, as we don't have a sensor for it. Not sure if oil temp or trans temp is available.

I run coolant temp, afr, and other bits.
Has an option for oil temp but it never seemed to work for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I use Torque Pro on my G37 Sport. Oil temp (aka VVT temp), AFR (pre-cat), coolant, base fuel schedule, MAF voltage (B1/B2) and fuel temp is available.
The VQ37 does not have a oil pressure sender, just an oil pressure switch, so we can't get oil pressure from the OBD port. |

What scan tool is every one using with torque pro.
|
I have two:
ScanTool OBDLink LX Cheap generic ELM327 type The cheap one works great for pulling and clearing codes.. but if you want to datalog or see realtime data with any kind of speed at all, you'll need to step up to one of the more expensive models like the ScanTool I listed... It works GREAT and does a MUCH better job of realtime streaming data to something like the TrackAddict app. |
Torque is great. Their logging feature is amazing, and it can be uploaded to their servers and accessed through their web app. Although lately i've been running Dash Command simply because their dashboard and graphics look better.

NISSAN App
I know this is an old thread but how do I use the Nissan extra app like I've downloaded and paid for extra things that it can do but I can't seem to get any interaction with it in the Bluetooth adapter which is one that is recommended for The Torque Pro application? Any input would be appreciated
