Manual Transmission acting like an automatic?
Today when I was pulling out of a parking lot, I put my car in first gear and started it up. When I took my foot off the gas pedal, I was expecting the car to slow down, but instead the car kept moving like an automatic transmission car. I stopped the car and put it in neutral. I then put the car into first gear and expected the car to stall when I did not hit the gas pedal. The car started moving like an automatic car, hitting the gas for me.
I drove home and tested the car in my neighborhood (about a 5 minute drive). The car was acting normal and I could not reproduce the problem. Has anyone else had this happen? |
