Well written and really quite accurate. You can't find much out there that is similar, as they noted. As for the Corvette, I don't see NISMOs like mine (2011) on every street corner like Corvettes. I like that bit of exclusivity and I still think the car has good looks and a timelessness to it. It's a pretty car!

Fuel starvation(experienced this about 3 weeks ago), oil cooler, and lastly the CSC. Yeah, that's alot of money to make it 'sport'. In a C6 GS I'd just need some DOT 4 and I'd be ready to rock.

I don't think you "need" to fix the CSC or fuel starvation to enjoy the car on the track. My original point still stands.

No but if your car goes down at the track, or you get a sh*t lap time because you lost power, you're going to wish you had. MY point still stands.

I agree that the author missed some things as we know what they are....that said and all things being equal the cars that Z is compared to have equal or more issues.

And it is a great article about the car and I agree with him mostly, the Z will be a great daily and track worthy with some mods. I checked other articles and I think he may become one of my favorite authors

I'm assuming you never owned a C6 Vette? If you think the 370Z requires too many fixes, it is nothing compared to what you would probably face with an older C6 Corvette. We are talking GM here, don't forget. I owned a pristine, low mileage C5 (almost same car as a C6 except for minor changes and facelift) for 8 years and you don't know what "too many fixes" means until you've owned the "great American sports car". In the end, I was glad to trade it in due to the multitude of "fixes" that it still needed that were driving me absolutely insane. My buddy's C6 was even worse. It's chockfull of electronic gremlins.
