Z is my second car, only choice was to get it in PW or black :).

No second choice...I have come full circle.

I used to own a 350z, then a Corvette, I then got a 2015 Hellcat and it took me 4 months to get sick of it and sell it. ...I will tell you why:
1. They have superchargers with bad bearings that Dodge is changing out if your on Warranty but its a weak link and many that get them changed out have problems again ... you get off warranty will cost you over 12k because they are sealed for life units.
2. Huge, heavy, wide, long = horrible handling.
3. Great drag racer? Well.....they have 275's on the rear. You spin more than anything else...unless you put some street drag radials..and if Dodge finds out...they can void your warranty on your differential (which also is a weak link) or DS.
4. Cost...seriously for that much money you expect perfection...this thing should be a stallion but its just a big burnout machine.

So glad to be back in a Z purchased a 2011 w/only 18k miles for 1/3 the price of the Hellcat and in every way ...to me its better.

The 370 gear/weight/power seem more than enough for the street at this point, its essentially 90% of a cayman S for 1/2 the price.

My Second is actually my Daily Driver - A 2016 "Coulis Red" Maxima Platinum Edition... a Z in a 4-door package with all the amenities, luxuries and creature comforts that a daily driver can possibly have and then some... My Z is a garage queen and only sees the road on fair weather days... So, I drive My Alternate Z on those alternate and daily days...

My Z was the replacement car after driving my sons 2008 RX8 for a few months. The RX8 is basically a Miata with 4 seats and an amazing rotary engine. I can't describe just how smooth and linear the power delivery is. 9000+ rpm all day long. About 230hp, torque is low but it is a unique experience.

I would have bought one but the thought of keeping two rotary cars running long term would be difficult. The Z was good choice, no regrets whatsoever.

Subbie is always a nice choice. I had an 04 WRX and now 11. They are fun and dependable. As for performance, you don't think a stock STI is as fast as a 370z? Either way I love both cars!

stock for stock, up top i dont think so, overall theyre very similar, sti will have the go to 60 and the Z will catch up, but even a stage 1 cobb map and the STI will be faster.

I was going between an Evolution X MR and a 370z for about a year. Then I got a concussion and I was dead set on the 370 for some reason. I don't regret it but the Evo 9 or 10 would be my second choice

Sold my silver 2010 370z and bought an M235i. Within 12 weeks it was gone and I became the proud owner of a 2016 370z.

My second best option (the BMW) turned out to be exactly that - second best.

Z wins again.

Going from a honda lx to a g35 coupe then a sedan.. to a Z.. i sure miss the luxury, but i like the size of the Z. Been complicating a mercedes or a bmw after. Possibly v8 version?

Agreed, I got to drive a friends M235i two years back, and he insisted that I give it all I wanted and I complied. It was superior to the Z in a number of ways, but when I got back in my Z and took a spirited drive home, I realized that there was no way I could switch my Z for it.

That being said, I am picking up an M2 in 4 months (not trading in the Z though) as I felt on my test drive, that it was much more involving than the M235i. Almost Z like.

Yes, the M235i isn't a BAD car, it just doesn't have the warm feel of being in a Z. Undoubtedly the M235i is quick and it certainly has lots of options (too many - for example, if I'd have wanted Eco mode I'd have bought a bicycle), but it just feels like a little, characterless, mass-produced toy. My intention was to keep it until the next Z came out, but I just couldn't live with it - or live without my Z.

Good luck with the M2. I hope it has more character than its baby sister.

"Porsche Cayman GT4"
These are 120ish thousand and would destroy the 370. My wife has a base Cayman and it handles AMAZING.

Had a daily driven 2010 370Z 7 years ago, Sold it after 2 years and got a 2012 WRX Hatch. I don't daily drive to work any more so I sold the WRX and bought a 2010 Nismo with 9300 miles on it. Oh how I've missed my Z.

Chiron, my Hyundai is a garage queen obviously.

Z won for me like so many of you. Mustang and WRX where up there with it but I'm more of a Chevy guy than a Ford and for a new car it would of been the Camaro SS. Too new at the time and figured it would be a reliability nightmare. C6 ZO6 would be my trade right now. It probably wouldn't be driven as much though and that was one of my main reasons for the Z. Daily driver with good performance. The Z needed a few mods to get the handling fixed but it's pretty awesome for a daily driver now.
