as I stated in my post, I havn't gone through the Z manual for it but I don't have access to one either (Z is in the shop) and in my 08 Altima Coupe with Intelligent Key it stated to press and hold the lock and unlock button until seeing the blinkers blink. Have you tried that? I think it should work the same as the Altima.
