It's 38F out...sunny, dry...
And I took my Z out for a spin since I've gots me a 5 day weekend, starting yesterday
One thing I noticed...LOTS LESS traction! I managed to trigger the squiggely light at 55 / downshift, and the car bucked a bit sideways! (and that's with VDC on!) I have to say these tires are definately "summer" tires. I can also tell that there's still a good amount of camber with my rear wheels, since the tires were warmer the more you move towards the center of the vehicle... With the number of flat long roads there are in Oklahoma - I weonder if I could set the camber to 0.0 deg? I think mine are at 1.2deg - whatever is "within spec".. |

Well...You can... The idiot Corvette guys do this all the time cause they're always whining about tire wear, and don't drive around curves anyway. Just straight lines back and forth from the car shows... If you don't care much about handling go ahead......It's not gonna make summer tires work any better in the winter though....40 degrees is the magic number..

One thing I noticed is that the outside temp display says "icy" - any ideas why? Seems there's an icy setting in there, but it's turned off...not sure what the icy thing means...lol |
