Check out the accessories page and under "exterior" there are these LED daytime running lights. Look pretty interesting....

I don't see anything about DRLs. LED taillights and side markers (which we already have), but nothing about DRLs. I do, however, spy standard heated mirrors (which I know some people really want).

Also, the extra key remotes have a Z on them!!

semtex 12-03-2009 03:10 PM

Ah, I was looking at the wrong Exterior page. Those lights are um . . . interesting.

areyouin729 12-03-2009 03:11 PM

that is the first I've seen of those daytime LED lights...hmmm

any idea of price?

CBRich 12-03-2009 03:43 PM

Wow, I was imagining the lights being in the headlights or something. Not too sure about those.

Also the first I've seen of the airbag anti-theft bolts. That's pretty interesting.

2010 Updates

For 2010 it looks like they also added a manual lever for the driver to drop the passenger seat. (Passenger seat fall down lever for driver). Listed under convienance features.

Horseface 12-03-2009 04:22 PM

I've just noticed you can add Nismo brake pads to your 370z 2010 model in the build your own section. Couldn't do that before...

CBRich 12-03-2009 04:25 PM

They must have seen me attempting to move the pass seat to see out the quarter window.

Lloydy 12-03-2009 04:53 PM

Anyone see mention of the backup camera? I thought that was supposed to be an option on the 2010 too.

Ricochet48 12-03-2009 05:21 PM

Nismo pads look interesting

chi7ook 12-03-2009 08:04 PM

B-up Camera

Just ordered my 2010 Z and was told the back-up camera was an aftermarket OEM add on. It's the one they currently have in the Rogue. The screen is located in the rear view mirror. Checked it out, it works well and is probably a little safer to boot since your looking at your rearview mirror as you backing up instead of looking down at your Nav screen. Cost is $495.00 plus installation.

Sweet! Also, I actually like the LED DRLs. I think they're trying to copy the 997 Turbo, but adapting to the fact there is only one air inlet for the front bumper...

u155282 12-03-2009 09:53 PM

:shakes head: those lights are teh suck.

G Fo12ce 12-03-2009 11:14 PM

2010 models are up on Edmunds.com now too if you want to look up invoice ect.

JakeZ34 12-03-2009 11:18 PM

so about those DRL LOL I don't know what Nissan was thinking....maybe they saw that picture of that front bumper kit for 350Z come'on you guys know what I'm talking about, the white 350Z with the crazy LED bumper. someone please post a picture of that thing!!! Maybe Nissan saw it and go "OH DAMN! sexy hot on a 370!"

azn370z 12-03-2009 11:39 PM

The gtr has had similar led dtrl for over a year and it cost about $1k.

I'm not too good with the Metric System, is that eight inches or eight FEET?

Hey, who wouldn't mind adding an extra "8 inches". Pass on the Extendze

antbear 12-04-2009 01:40 PM

What Kind of Disclaimer Is This?

2010 Option...................

NISMO Brake Pads

* Semi-metallic
* Heat range: ambient temperature to 600º/700º F
* Greater braking performance

Note Special Color Change

Also just noticed............The extra charge "special color" for 2010 is Black Cherry. It looks real good!

I bought my Z in 09 when the dealers told me Chicane Yellow was discontinued for the next model year. Can't understand why Nissan would do that since yellow Z's were used so much in their ads, car magazine write ups, evaluation test drives on TV, etc.

Neither inches nor feet are part of the metric system. Metric is meters, centimeters, etc.

GETU1 12-04-2009 09:40 PM

Ain't feeling the Hyper LED Driving lights. NOPE. I would rather do the headlamp mod with LEDs any day.

I'm sorry, but this looks like one of those tacky aftermarket things rather than something a car manufacturer themselves would cook up. I'm a little bit in shock. Fiddly, busy-looking and just doesn't fit. Ghetto.

What next? Windshield washer jets with blue illuminated Zs on them?

:ugh2:

I'm thinking next year we see LED headlights as an option

:shakes head:

Those are racing brakes designed for racing. The don't work very well at stoplights, especially when cold.
