Posted car for sale ...
On EBay, KBB and Autotrader....$23.5k for 2014 red sports package with Pioneer Stereo and rear camera and 19k miles.
Interestingly, I get a text from a guy, wants pictures. Sent them. He emails me! says he is in the military, based in Germany, really wants my car, will pay through paypal. I get interested but a few minutes later, I get two more from two other guys with almost identical texts, again both in military, but one in a Texas and one on a base in Ca. They too wanted to make the deal. I got suspicious and dropped it. Now, I am hoping I can get some more interest. Course, CarMax offered $19k, Cars.com through a dealer offered $19.5k as did Vroom.com. Local Nissan dealer offers more but in trade for one of his cars. |
Good thing you picked up on the scams. A lot of scammers out there when you're dealing privately. Cash is king or meet up inside their bank for anything other than cash.

Yep. Got same thing trying to sell my Boxster on Autotrader…

Considering da hassle, I would just sell to Carmax. Especially for 4-5g, not worth my time.

So... Many... Scammers... I really wanna find these pieces of sh*t and beat them till within an inch of their life. Same scammers tried to get me as well when I was trying to sell my old xB on Craig's List. Aggravated me so much that I took the ad down and just traded the mofo in. I sometimes wonder if these scammers are actually just salesman doing this to get people to trade their cars in instead of trying to sell them outright.

Especially if I could use that saved time to play blackjack and recoup the 4-5g + more! |
