it's true that rev limiter will shut off car? nismo version too?

Hey

Just been told if I keep the revs up drifting constantly the motor will shut off.

Is this true?

does it apply to the Nismo version as well?

how much are they going to limit the 370z? ridiculous.

Thanks

Who said that by the way? If it was the sales guy, laugh in his face and bet him a couple thousand dollars. If it was a service guy, RUN.

Motor wont shut off but if you dont have an oil cooler you will definitely hit limp mod

I've haven't read anything about the engine shutting down on high revs - but maybe I missed it. If it does, it should say so in the OM or FSM.

yeah. A guy here was selling a fast intentions oil USED cooler but he wanted $500 and it costs like $540 new.

I offered $400 and he wasn't sure. >_>

Anyways. I'll have to take it easy on the track.
Freaking Nissan messing up like this. Unbelievable.

What did you think people were going to do with a sports car? use it for grocery shopping? dafaq

Yeah there's nothing like this, but then again, this doesnt seem like a standard thing. It seems like an error from the company.
its a pretty stupid thing to make a sports car do.

It's not a track car. Nissan didn't engineer it to be one. It can be made track ready fairly easy.
