Default American Muscle...Made in Canada.

I saw the episode of Mega Factories, and they covered...the Camaro...which is made entirely in Canada.

I sincerely hope that the next one of us that has to deal with some douchbaggery from the Camaro crowd that says something like :buy american: help them understand that saying generally means United States of America, and not North / Central / South American, and kindly inform them that their car is made in a foreign country as well.

Just some food for thought...

That is absolutely right. The Camero is made in Canada and as far as I know so is the new Dodge Challenger as well.

Default Buy American

I am still laughing about the woman I saw in the American made mini-van a few Sundays ago. She was a large blond woman puffing on a smoke. In the right rear of the window was the cartoon guy urinating on "IMPORTS" In the left rear was a black and gold UAW sticker...and then she turns into Walmart. I used to buy American, mostly Chevies but, after so many mechanical problems, I said no more. I still have some American cars but they are from the 1960s. I laugh when people argue that buying an American car somehow makes them more patriotic than me.

Well, it's in my personal opinion that I will not buy a vehicle from a company that pays a guy $30/hr to sweep floors.

And they wonder why they have to have a money-back guarantee now?

The whole 'Buy American' policy is so retarded I can't begin to understand the logic.

If everyone only bought goods produced in their own country, much of America would quickly be unemployed.

If Americans only buy American goods why should any other country purchase goods made in America?

Anyhow, fortunately most people disregard this policty and buy goods based on quality, pricing and performance, as opposed to the country the goods are produced.

and takes weeks to get MRI's or cat scans and shyt..... lived there, done that, know about all the BS behind national health care. they still pay for it through income tax, and you have to pay for the health card out of pocket.

Also.... they have a quota system. When I lived there, a doc had to see so many patients a year and they all made the same money. Boom! Meet your quote 3 months before the year is over? You get yourself a nice vacation and tell your patients 'buh-bye.' See you next year!

Would "assembled" be considered "made?". Isn't a lot of Japanese branded vehicles assembled in America?

Made in America is beginning to be a very slippery slope.

On the other hand, I vote for buying American made.

P.s.

Should Camaro be relabeled Camara eh!
