lift points

I jacked of my Z yesterday at the factory notches to raise the right front tire ,but the back also lifted up. Is that supposed to happen I did it with my floor jack. I was concerned about it hurting the frame so I lowered it after I got the tire off just til the rear tire contacted the driveway.

No harm done. Short wheelbase + stiff frame. If it makes you feel better, you can put a jack stand at both wheels while working on the car.

must be a strong jack

I used my 2 ton floor jack ,because I got a nismo I had to drive on a 3 inch brick to fit the jack under it. I just didn't expect to see the both wheels off the ground.

Normal. My Nismo does it too. I usually go from the side first, behind the front wheel. Then a jack stand. Then the front. Then another jack stand.

That is proof of a very stiff frame. No it will not hurt the frame by lifting at one point. The stiffer the frame, the better the suspension does it's job. No wonder these cars handle like they're on rails.

The only other car where I came close to lifting the whole side from one lift point was my previous '03 C5 Corvette but only after I stiffened up the suspension and swaybars. That car was supposed to have an extremely stiff frame for the time. No comparison to my '16 Z though.

Like everyone else has said ... totally normal. You're not hurting anything
