Sometimes it is hard to make any posts because some of the subject matter isn't worth commenting on.

Yeah...I'm used to dealing with more experienced (and smarter) enthusiasts...
I originally came here to learn about the car...Unfortunately there are only a select few that helped me there...ah well..

i do not seek to enlighten, only to entertain :-D

Same for me. There is a solid core of users here that are courteous and helpful but it's not like other boards I've frequented. There is very little basic car knowledge here, which I find interesting, entertaining, and sad!

You people and your fancy cruise control..

bucketman 11-30-2009 07:16 PM

I use the cruise control......to keep me from going to slow!

ChrisSlicks 11-30-2009 09:01 PM

What's cruise control?

My last 5 cars have had it and I'm yet to use it. I just don't like it.

i used mine once to make sure it was working... it was on the way home from the dealership. :)

It was great early on here at the370Z.com but I've noticed a major slide in the last few months. I guess its next to impossible to have a welcoming open forum like the370Z is yet keep the "quality" up without major policing - sad.

Oh and to the OP you do realize that at 90MPH you are travelling 132 feet every second? Unfortunately driving isn't taken as seriously as it should be...

I agree!Have noticed alot of silly subject matter lately not even worth commenting on.
Perhaps there could be some basic questions to answer prior to entering the site that the average enthusiast must complete so as to know they are at least in touch with the real world and all around them!
Hope it doesn't continue the same downward trend?

tune dose wonders

have it retuned and set it up to what you want it to cruise at and top speed to what you want , you will have to buy software and have a tuner retune it

softerware i have used is UPREV or ECUTEK FLASH LICENSE

I got a job for him if he wants it.

There is an 85 mph speed limit in my backyard. But that doesn't mean anyone should be setting cruise control while driving that fast. It's unsafe to allow the computer algorithm to control throttle input at that speed.

I see while the CC leaves much to be desired for some, we have a time machine.

I don't mean to be an ignoramus, but I could never trust CC, let alone in a manual sports car.
