Need Help Picking an Exhaust.

Hey guys I know there are probably a million post on here about this topic but none have really gone over the exhausts i have been considering. I know that ultimately i would love to get the amuse r1 titanium exhaust but i dont feel like dropping nearly 4k for an exhaust system. So the options are as listed no one more favored then the other just what i am considering.

1.Fast Intentions Exhaust "like this option because they offer it with a hfc"

2.Hks High power ti Exhaust "love the look and sound down side have to add berk hfc"

3.Armytrix Exhaust "positive here is the muffler delete option seeing as i live in an apartment its nice to have the option to tone down the exhaust note"

Fourth option would be the amuse exhaust but i just cant fathom dropping 4k for an exhaust when i can put that extra expense into other mods. Greddy, stillen, and borla options didnt tickle my fancy much either. Just curious what you guys think is the best option. I have noticed most people here are crazy about the fast intentions but i am really curious what you guys think about the other two options as well. Thanks for the input guys. Also open to other recommendations these are just the best i have seen looks and sound wise so far.

FI or ARK are two of the best ones out there.

First 2 on your list will be about an 8 week wait due to back order. The HKS was my first choice when i was looking for mine. Placed the order for it but then due to an 8 week wait to get it I cancelled and bought the Invidia Gemini CBE which I am very happy with.

FI.

There are a couple on sale in the For Sale Forum. No need to wait.

Motordyne was my 2nd pick when doing my research. Check them out too. There are nice clips on YouTube as well. Like many, I went with FI because of proven performance and excellent service. Many shops have built their cars using FI. Many shops who have not seen or heard of FI are impressed when they install one. FI did a lot of good for the Z community as well. It is worth the wait. I would not spend 4k on an exhaust when I know there are excellent ones for half the price.

I went with the HKS High Power Ti for several reasons, one of which is because it's a little less common than the FI or ARK that everyone else has, it's quieter, and because a forum member here had a complete brand new system for sale at a price I couldn't refuse.

As for cats and such, I went with Motordyne ART pipes. They're quieter than regular test pipes and HFC's, flow better than both, and also retain low end torque.

Go with FI. The cbe system is of the highest quality material and workmanship. Add to that an excellent record of customer service and customer satisfaction. You will not be disappointed at all just like the other thousands of Z owners that went with FI.
Good luck!

As far as material quality, fit and finish, FI, Ark and HKS are all on par, all look very similar from the rear, and all sound great. You can't go wrong with any of them.

Thanks for the feedback guys it is much appreciated!

Go with the FI option. The sound of the exhaust is bad azz. Does not sound like a loud fart can. YMMV but I think the 18"res option is about as loud as I want it. Adding high flow cats or test pipes would be way too loud for a daily driver.

FI with FI HFCS and Z1 headers is sooooo insanely beautiful! Carbon fiber canisters is just icing.

you are right, there are a million and one posts about this topic. every single exhaust you have posted about has multiple threads, douchebag.

Unnecessary Roughness.

To add to the douche baggery of this thread ;-)...

I hate buying stuff only to wish I would have thought about what my end state was or might be. Seems like the FI CBE is the way to go for NA. What about forced induction later at some point? The FI 3" seems good for this, but I'm not going forced induction or a while and the 3" is not compatible with NA applications. What about the AAM 3" True Dual setup? Seems like this gives me some flexibility down the line.

I have a 14 Roadster with Stillen 3 Gen and Invidia and the exhaust note is intoxicating. Yet there it is quiet at high way speeds. You don't want to live with droning when you are in cruise mode.
