No worries, friend. But just so you know that Emoji means you're laughing at the comment about above

Thanks for posting that I hadn't seen it, That is one sweet bike, it's about time Honda My Ohlins shock is OK I'm not sure of the forks are salvageable. I was thinking about maybe getting away from sport bikes but, that's making me reconsider. It's funny how many people have been telling me they can't believe that I would think about riding the motorcycle again. I just tell them I can't imagine going through life without one. Only fellow riders understand that

Instead of a sport bike. Sport tourer. There are some nice ones out there now. I embarrassed a few crotch rocket squids on my VFR in my time. My Mich Pilot Powers are worn to the edge. No chicken strips.

Rider > bike every time. It's true for cars too but it's exponentially more evident on 2 wheels. People always buy bikes because of what a professional racer on a closed course can make it do, not because of how it performs for them, at their skill level, in the real world. If I had it to do over again I'd have a 1098 Streetfighter instead of my 848... maybe less capable on a track, but tons more fun/comfortable for what I actually use it for.

2" chicken strips are a different matter though.

I drive it from time to time. i like it, but it doesnt even begin to comapre to the Z. The response in the Z (acceleration and steering) is sooo much better. She Loves it, which is good. She has had a juke, rogue, and an altima (all in the last 4 years). I think this one she will keep for a while.

Daily driver: 04 Subaru Forester XT with stg.2 mods / tune. Fun little car that I can take camping, hiking, kayaking, etc. It's nice for what it is.
Recently replaced my STI hatchback with a 370z sport-tech. This thing is a ton of fun to drive, definitely missed the RWD although I may not be saying that when the snow hits. |

My DD is 2011 Toyota.
Not quite as much fun as my Z, but this sweet ride really gets noticed on the road. Sporting the Harley Davidson sticker and equipped with the optional tow package, it certainly gets the attention of a lot of babes… Albeit blue haired ones, but babes just the same… 52mpg Love, Spoiler Last edited by Spoiler; 10-24-2016 at 03:11 AM. |

I have a 2016 Forester XT Limited (originally bought for my wife). Much more comfortable than the Z with more amenities for the daily commute. Has enough power and being pushed by the hand of God during WOT is enough to keep me satiated until the weekends arrive.
My wife has a 2016 Honda Fit. I was going to buy Civic Hatch turbo for myself but she fell more in love with the Fit and its cuteness so she gave the Forester to me lol. |

the fit is a good dd if youre not in a rush to get anywhere. my wife has the GK too and the thing is so faking slow with its CVT it pisses me off most of the time. i had the manual ones for 2 gens as dd and the GE was not bad. it was doing 0-60 in about 7.5 sec which is about as fast as your forester.. or quicker than a 240z
