Test drove a 2014 at a Mazda event, sadly things had gotten more expensive as the fully loaded one went for 30k+....but the interior once again felt and looked great, leather seats were supple (stiff sport seats in my G), interior somewhat put the G's interior to shame. I do however love the synergy on having Z and G, easy for me to deal with maintenance and research.

I bought a little Hyundai Veloster R Spec turbo in April. Did a few breathing tweaks. Fun little car with decent mileage. I jump from that into my NISMO and it's a different world..the Z is immediate in everything and stiff..love it! The Veloster is great for the commute, quiet, Sirius and a back seat for the grandboys.

Been a Datsun/Nissan owner/advocate continuous since '77 with my first Datsun B210 fastback 4-spd. Then, an '83 Datsun 4x4 KCab pickup. Now my daily is a '97 Maxima 5-spd I bought in '00. Still drive it most days, still love it at 185k miles. 197-hp VQ engine same family as my '12 370z. Have no reason to change from Nissan...value and reliability.

Wifes '14 is250 fsport is our DD, its an auto, has leather seats and is pretty comfortable. Weekday traffic is awful here in PR, and since we work in the same place we carpool
No comparison with the Z, heavy, slow, takes a lot of time to pick up speed and only gets about 22 mpg On the upside, respectable braking and front grill/bumper looks great to me

My Z is my DD, I have my tow pig 2000 F250 for when the weather sucks. The Z is easier to park and more fun to drive, but it is nice to listen to the turbo spool in the truck.

I drive my Z as much as possible when the weather is nice. But, when it is crappy out, I drive a 2015 Mazda 3 S Touring hatchback with a 6 speed manual. When it gets real crappy out, mostly during the winter, I drive a 2001 Dodge Grand Caravan. There are a lot a lousy drivers here in Iowa who don't know how to drive in winter weather. If one of them hits me, I just as soon it be my van that takes it tough.

My daily is a 2008 Sentra. Tanabe lowering springs, sticky BF goodrich tires, 5Zigen rims, Megan exhaust, 3 chassis bracing bars. she does me well. Just wish I would have gotten a SpecV instead of the CVT, but hey a new car in high school, I can't complain too much ha.

Here's mine, but I bet I didn't have it out more than 4 times this season.

2004 Lexus IS300, about to hit 100K miles. It's also a very enjoyable and fun car to drive.
Tein Coilovers HKS Exhaust Aftermakert wheels Engine is completely stock, mostly due to that I'm considering getting a turbo kit maybe in the future, just need to find a shop that could do it and a good kit for it. |
